because the people that use Monero actually uses as a currency unlike Bitcoin that uses it as a stock like the number goes up the Bitcoin protocol is not capable to run at scale as a global system they're using Bitcoin as a beta test for the digital system that the government is using Monero is actually a cryptocurrency that the government is kind of scared about now it comes with quantum computers they could break the encryption but their is encryption that quantum computers can't break and I'm pretty sure people that are working on Monero is working on that
You would also have disliked the evangeliizing early Bitcoin community then and rightfully dimissed it when one could still easily buy thousands of Bitcoins.
Same is not true for Mobero as it trades at $225 instead of single digits. But you get thevpount.
I knew about Bitcoin before a lot of other people did I first heard about it on 4chan it was like under a dollar I didn't pay much attention to it thought it was a scam until it 20.00$ I remember the mount gox Fiasco fun fact the people run Mount Cox were actually Magic the Gathering players
