I was, for a moment, struck by an overpowering sense that everything is building toward a specific point in time. That we are all being carried forward inexorably to play a role in something bigger than we know.

Even trying to put it into words distorts it. It's quite strange. I think it's time to go to sleep, my brain is playing tricks.
