I'm going to El Salvador for the third time this year partially because Bitcoin is accepted in a lot of the places I go. Does Monero have something similar?

The Monero community does not need good dictators. Most of the Monero community prefers to build a parallel economy around itself.

So you are saying that the "Monero Community" doesn't really exist outside of the Internet? There is no Monero Beach or Monero Mountain?
