The asset arrives at raffie's house
There's cars parked in the driveway and out front
There's a chain link fence around the entire property
There's three very large dogs in the yard
They look hungry
There's two men sitting on the front porch with guns

He circles around the block and parks on the next street
The house behind raffie's has no dogs
There's no lights on
He sneaks up to it
There's no cameras
No security at all
He goes to a window and opens it
He climbs inside the house
Somehow he manages to find the kitchen and sneak out some leftover meatloaf and some pork bones from the trashcan
He leaves the house and goes to the fence
The dogs rush over barking and he throws a piece of meatloaf at them
They start fighting each other
One of the guys comes around the house yelling at the dogs to stop fighting
They seem scared
The whimper and growl at each other
He starts coming over the fence
One snaps at him
He throws another piece of meat
They start fighting again
He hears one guy coming back
So he gets down and backs away into the shadows
The guy comes up and hits the dogs
They cry and whimper
Then he puts them on chains just out of reach of each other
Then goes back out front
The asset goes back to the fence and throws a piece of meatloaf he makes it over the fence then goes to each one quickly and lays down a piece of bone
He sneaks up to the window and sets down the rest of the meatloaf
The first room is a bedroom
There's a female on a bed giving head to one of the gang bangers
The door is open and he can see into the living room
There's three guys watching TV and one guy pacing around
A guy gets up from the couch and goes into the room and pulls out his dick
He goes to the next window
It's a kid's room
He taps twice on the glass and ducks to the side
The window opens
It's raffie
Oh thank God it's you kid
C'mon let's go
He whispers
Raffie throws his bookbag out the window before climbing out
The asset grabs the meatloaf and throws the rest to the dogs
Then he lifts raffie over the fence before climbing over
He grabs the kid's hand and they run for the car
Once they're in the kids says
Gross what were you touching?!
Uhh.. meatloaf
For the puppies
The kid laughs and says yeah
Puppies

The asset starts the car and they drive away
Raffie is quiet for a minute but then starts crying
It gets louder and louder
Untill he's flopping around screaming

He pulls over and puts his hand on the kid's chest

Raffie grunts so loud
It looks like he's ready to shit or turn into the hulk
He starts to scream
But the asset puts his hand on his mouth while the kid punches at the air

Raffie says he'll try
You can see how much pain he's in
The pull in at a field
There's no one around
And there's an abandoned little building
He gets out and says c'mon kid
Raffie follows
The man starts screaming

I HATE MY LIFE
FUCK YOU GOD
He looks at the kid
No one can hear us
And look
There's some stuff we can smash
The kid starts screaming and destroying the already broken furniture inside
He throws a chair through an already broken window and finds a pipe to beat the wooden desk with
He's screaming about his mother being a bitch
His life being shit
The asset says
That's right
Let it all out kid
All of it
He joins the kid
They yell and cry and smash things for 30 minutes
During that time he realized that raffie's mother was in the first room he looked in and it made him more angry
He wanted to save both kids sooner
He didn't even know how bad it was
He hated himself
He hated himself more after he started seeing the bigger picture
He felt so dumb
Sloppy
Like a total failure
He should have known better
He should be better
All of their sorrow agony and rage flew through them and was released in the form of controlled destruction
When they finish they sat on the asset's car and looked towards the sky
Wondering if something bigger was at play
This couldn't be all for nothing
