Great story I just heard on a podcast.

When Obama was president, he would often invite a group of historians over for dinner, and asked them to act like the person they have written a biography on (Kearns Goodwin as Lincoln, McCullough as Truman, etc).

And then he would talk about the problems or challenges he was facing and ask for advice from the great “presidents”.

Really creative idea.
