I went through 4-5 nsecs before I figured nostr out.

Easily went through 10 Twitter accounts too.

No big deal if you have to throw away your first nsec because you got it through a custodial site once your purple pill digests.

Baby steps. Not that serious.

I think if you're well known it's easier to rebuild your following/connections. Would be more challenging for lesser known peeps. Like me 😁

I think the big no no would be tying my account to my real identity, at least on this handle.

Just curious, what would prompt you to rotate your nsec unless you knew for sure it was compromised?

Boredom usually πŸ˜‚

How do you manage rebuilding connections/follower list/trust that you’re the same person, etc?

For all my Twitter accounts I didn't say I was the same person.

Just became a new nym and rebuilt it

Ah fair. For Nostr were the first ones just messing around until this one?

My is a vanity npub I made myself. But I do have this nagging feeling that pasting nsec into apps will come back and bite me later.

We need a better way.

Open source browser extension+ offline key generation is pretty good I think
