I think we all do that sometimes.
For me, I just want to head in the direction of reducing spam, anybody who is at least heading in the same direction is better than anybody who is not. They don't have to be perfect.
That's all we can reasonably ask for. Spam still gets through my emails, I don't turn off the spam filters.
