Greetings, Dan

it's full of misinformation

What is wrong there? I didn't read.

Internet was created to survive nuclear strikes, not for freedom of expression.

What if it's rephrased to "even though the internet was created to survive nuclear strikes, it was proven to be a good fit for freedom of expression"?

technically correct

I don't think it's a good idea to refer to government censorship as one of the issues. Not because it's not a big issue, but, rather, because it's something Nostr on its own doesn't address (Nostr with some darknet protocol like Tor or I2P, maybe with some decentralized DNS system, actually might, at the detriment of simplicity and speed).

Governments can still censor you by arresting you if you are in their territory, confiscating your assets if you own anything in their territory, blocking foreign Nostr relays and turning off relays in their territory (arresting relay admins if they don't comply). They may also block the internet altogether, but most Western governments would not do so.

Arbitrary censorship by capitalists and platform owners is what Nostr does solve.
