Nextcloud with nsec logins when?

I think the login using "2FA via nextcloud" is really good. Allows you to just approve your login via your phone nextcloud app, adding an extra layer of security and ease (not messing around with TOTP tokens).

I can't stand 2FA. It's not very good, and what happens if you baby get to you phone or it's dead?

Sure I get it, it's slightly annoying but neccessary for security. Always make backups for whatever is in your phone, have a backup plan in case you loose your phone, nextcloud is good for this too. Nextcloud 2FA is just that little bit nicer.

No, it's not necessary and plenty of people are pushing back against 2FA as it can be a vulnerability.
