I like to compare Bitcoin adoption to the evolution of a young star athlete.

At 12 you really start to see their promise.

At 16 their future is clear but it is not until their early 20s that the new star athlete really starts to dominate at the highest levels.

I suspect that a similar timeline is accurate for Bitcoin.
