Why do I feel like the logical conclusion to this is a military checkpoint in Syria?
I’m not converting to Islam. Just because I respect the religion doesn’t mean I’ve taken the shahada. I think it has problems with historical continuity.
I’m also not “threatening” suicide. I’m just saying that I want to do it.
In that case, a shotgun shot to the head is the best method to ensure a painless death. Followed by a handgun to the head and a shot to the chest. Make sure as much of the brainstem gets destroyed as people have managed to fuck up shooting themselves in the head.
If you don't have access to a gun the next best option is a fall from a very high place. Make sure it's very high though and try to land head first.
If you want to slit your wrists make sure to cut deep and parallel to your arm as this as a much lower chance of successfully clotting up.
Pills are almost always a bad idea as your body can often detect an extremely fatal dose of most things and you'll end up puking it out if you go too high. If you go too low you'll just get sick but survive. Unless you're very knowledgeable about whatever you take and get get the right dosage, you're likely to fail with any sort of poisoning attempt.
CO poisoning is also an option as you just get sleepy when exposed so as long as you can hook up to up a reliable source you're likely to die. Has the downside of being hazardous to others though.
Or, you know, you could try to behave in less antisocial ways and make relationships that bring meaning to your life. It's up to you though 🙃
