If the media approves of it, I'm immediately suspicious. After all, they're only going to approve of things they can control, right?

Every technological revolution comes with it's share of mockery and disdain. Every step forward from the mouse, the home computer, and every step since. Nostriches should count this as a compliment. It means they're threatened by it.

💯 It's not "ignored" if you're mentioned and also quoted in a way that indicate what's going on :)

Nostr needs another influx of new users either from some geographical area or use case.

Twitter or the rest of the large "old media" is too broad at this point. Could be something "small" but still in some millions or even tens.

Would also help to cater the requirements and demands issues. Now, everything is still pretty twitterish.

I agree. And with every new influx I hope we see another wave of innovation that moves things forward.

We've seen that the old ways of doing this don't work well at scale. That experiment has been done. I'm ready to see the new paradigm of social media grow organically right here.

@npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63mput it nicely on Nostrica that so far we have been mainly taking the old concepts and not really thinking of new capabilities and opportunities that nostr offers.

That's where the magic happens.
