If you're working with Ag pipe or need to cut irrigation pipe etc, try using ratchet pruners.

I am building a hoop frame for our blueberries and just couldn't be shagged hacking away at it with a hacksaw, that led me to think of shears or something like that and finally the ratchet pruners. Worked first time and allowed me to cut up my hoops from old ag pipe in a minute, super easy.
