Still don’t understand ecash. If someone said they’d pay me in ecash instead of BTC I wouldn’t go for it. Is it another token on btc network? #bitcoin #asknostr

If someone pays you using a bitcoin ecash wallet, you still receive it in bitcoin.
It's just a private automated custody method.
Which project are you speaking about here ? From what i've seen you receive a url to virtual coins on a mint representing bitcoin, that then point to channel locked bitcoin on LN, that can then sign an amount of onchain to your address through regular lightning off ramps (which are difficult for small amounts.)
