My experience of Nostr is that it’s more community than social media.

People are supportive, have manners, have differing opinions and stances on things but agree that they want to maintain free speech.

At first that freedom is a shock as there are things and people on here that differ wildly from what you may believe in, but that’s the point - to be able to say your say and not have the thought police on your back.
