I actually flip back and fore between Primal and Amethyst depending on how they perform on the day

if you are just starting out, try several.
if you are on Android on a phone try Amethyst.

I like both amethyst and primal
They all have their pros and cons. I gotten accustomed to Amethyst, to the point where its weird using other clients. It does what I need it to do.

Damus seems pretty solid for iOS.
For what use case? They all work together, which is kind of the value prop IMO.
Amethyst works great for me on Android. I haven't seen a desktop client that I like much yet.
