The beautiful thing about Nostr is it's fair. Nobody owns this, the only part you get to own is your own. And the value that part holds completely depends on the work you yourself put into it.
No mandatory algorithms. No arbitrary censorship. No board of directors. No advertising revenue. No enshitification.
Nostr is freedom.
Ian Carroll suggested nostr as a good alternative social media because it's decentralised and primal was just the first app when I searched nostr in the app store
I am still working out how to use it, how to find people to follow that aren't just crypto bros.
I know it's still kinda early but I was expecting to find some gardening content and memes that aren't strictly related to crypto and stock markets. time will tell I guess.
