That's just always been weird to me because, at least in my mind, I see the more cipherpunk leaning Bitcoiners and Monero people in greater alignment than they would think. Or at least that some of the Bitcoiners would think.
And in a heavily KYC'd environment like Bitcoin is currently. There are a lot of privacy concerns, and I think using custodians that are more private, like Cashew, is kind of a shitty cop-out. Like yes, we do need to be building better custodians, and it's good to see privacy considerations go into custodial solutions. And while I don't really like the idea of a fully closed-off ledger, there is something to be said about having more on-chain privacy. Taproot was supposed to help achieve this to make transactions look similar, but I don't see a lot of wallets with default taproot support.
But I've also come to the realization that there are a lot of statist bootlickers who only care about number go up in Bitcoin, so they think everything is sunshine and rainbows and living in La La Land and gargling sailor's balls Thinking they're fighting the state when they're just a frog in warm water.
