1. That’s not reason to shoot a person
2. In the last few months he was questioning more and more the actions of Israel

I didn't say anything about this being a reason to kill Charlie...just the way you view his public persona depends on your worldview a lot.
I don't like any of those young intellectuals running those political debates..too many of them have this smart ass attitude and they often just serve one psyop or another...this is basically their task I believe.
Now Shapiro will take Charlie's role..
Shapiro isn't a Charlie.
Shapiro is serving another country.
As for Kirk, the OP called him empathic, and respectful, not *correct*.
It’s worth noting that regarding Muslims that empathy usually goes out the window, but I don’t blame him, it’s the same kind of disgust many have on conservative Christians.
My main beef with him was how he would describe the US as a Christian nation but also defend separation of church and state.
I can get the nuance, but that’s doesn’t work in his type of rhetoric.
I don't agree with him on everything. I don't even agree with the Pope on everything, nor am I expected to.
Saints aren't expected to be perfect, they're expected to display heroic virtue, which he did.
You call him a Saint? Wow...haven't heard this one before.
All baptized Christians are saints (and priests). We are all members of the communion of saints.
That is why the Apostel's Creed says:
* I believe in the Holy Spirit,
* the holy catholic Church,
* _the communion of saints_,
* the forgiveness of sins,
* the resurrection of the body,
* and life everlasting.
Canonized saints are those whose life has been particularly exemplerary and who have been investigated and whose lives are therefore positive examples. The investigation takes decades, but it always begins with a popular veneration.
One way or another Charlie is one big PsyOp today, used to put streets on fire around the globe..scary and fascinating at the same time..like they need 24 hours to make him a martyr on level of Luther King...which is absolutely crazy.
MLK also became a martyr in 24 hours.
That happens, when someone so central to a larger movement is assassinated. It is then seen as an attack on the entire group, and not merely an attack on that particular person.
It's a part of the psyop. Media crowned him a martyr and a saint for their own use case and they will exploit every inch of it and in the end Charlie and whatever he represented will be torn to pieces.
It wasnt because people liked him, but because of what happened.
That’s like saying people were crazy with Floyd because he was a criminal.
What happened was as evil as you can fathom in western culture.
Basically the equivalent of a terrorise attack.
