Opinions on psilocybin mushrooms?

I have a growing belief that Bitcoin and psychedelics have many parallels.

Both can completely change your outlook on the world, both require strong personal responsibility, both are decentralized (grow your own), and both are extremely disliked by the authoritarian "powers that be", ect.

Not sure what to do with this thought but cannot get it out of my head.
