Got a new modem/router from Rogers/Shaw and an upgraded 2Gbps service. Cutting edge tech I thought.

When I went to set it up the password was restricted to 20 characters and no symbols.

IMO, always buy the modem yourself, and run your own separate router.

That's the overall plan. I wanted to check this out first. I have old gear and wanted to see what the new stuff could do. I will at least put it in bridge mode.
