Ok, so if you have growing spots, nail a few holes in your ceiling to drain the water or else your ceiling will bow and the drywall will collapse.

Get a tarp on your roof asap until you can get in the attic to find the leak.

Trust me, this is from personal experience. Had this happen to me last year.
