I hope he does, but recall, this was before hardware signing devices, and only shortly after BIP39 seed words. Multisig was technically possible, but he probably would've needed to have been a bleeding edge pioneer at constructing those (at the time very uncommon & identifiable) transactions.

But yeah, I definitely hope he has sone spare keys 😏
