His character had such a sense of *presence*.

Roy Batty's "Tears in the Rain" monologue is *the* gold standard but I picked Brion James's Leon because I liked the actor in multiple roles (48 Hours), never more so when he falls apart in the memorable Voight Kampff test.

Not that it was a conscious, calculated choice, but that Inquisition was inspirational for me.
