My value theory
TLDR;
1️⃣ Almost everything costs money. If something costs money, and it still exists, it means, it finds the money to stay afloat. If it wasn't, it would have already closed.
2️⃣ The people who makes such things possible, has to make this thing. This means, it has make more sense for him to work on it compared to working on something else. This means he has to have some incentive doing this compared to anything else. Not mentioning that everyone has costs, and fixed amount of time. Usually not everyone wants to work 24/7, so they do this to make a living or they do something else. Therefore if they make something it shall not only stay afloat, but be profitable to make sense working on that and not on something else.
3️⃣ Things that are free to use, costs money, and still available, make money somehow.
4️⃣ If you are not paying for something explicitly, you may pay for it implicitly.
