38 startups have reached unicorn status in 2024, with a combined valuation of over $14 billion. According to PitchBook, 49 US startups have achieved the milestone. Notable examples include Figure, a humanoid robot company valued at $2.6 billion; Together AI, a cloud service for running open source AI models valued at $1.25 billion; and ElevenLabs, an AI text-to-speech generator startup valued at $1 billion.
