Nostr was created by bitcoiners so that helped. There’s nothing to stop shitcoiners into nostr and built their own clients. But the issue is crypto VCs can’t make money from it.
Those interested nostr all mainly those interested bitcoin and privacy.
However, there is quite a few of the Monero community using nostr.

Yeh I really like it. Be good to get more daily active users and more communities though. I think it’s like roughly 9000 users on average daily last I checked. Might be more today after Elons X.com transition.
