Said that game was shady from day one and got all sorts of weird looks. The CONCEPT is great but it was obviously more than just a game.
Very much agreed
They were doing the same thing with their game ingress, but it wasn't popular until they re-skinned it for Pokemon.

Conceptually, it was a pretty cool game. You chose a team, and you fought for area control, essentially. Take over nodes and link them together with people, and then you would control the space inside those nodes until somebody took over your node And broke the link between the others. It's kind of cool.
Weird
It was kind of cool. I got some of my nerd friends to get more exercise because they had to physically walk to these places to check them out. Kind of the same thing with Pokemon Go. 🤣
