I wasn’t a fan of the KYC option to connect your wallet to Primal which is why I’ve stuck with Damus, and now that’s letting me down also 😔..
Early days still for Nostr. I have faith 🙏

Me too.
I can't remember what details I gave them. I don't recall doing KYC (maybe an email address?, do the other details need to be accurate?), but that definitely does suck.
KYC on primal? I started using it recently and it didn’t ask for anything.
Only when you want to add a wallet to send zaps did it ask me for all my details. Perhaps it’s an iOS thing and not on android.
So give a fake name like everyone else. It’s not really KYC.
Yeah I get that and happy to do so. But at the end of the day, Nostr wasn’t created to harvest personal data. Which is what nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg is trying doing. I’ll stick with nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 🫡
I will never touch @damus with Jack Dorsey involved
Primal is far ahead. And they’re not doing KYC.
I agree, the UX of Primal is smoother and more appealing. If they scrapped asking for my details to connect a wallet then that would for sure be my Nostr client of choice. Until then though… the future is bright and it’s still extremely early, so excited to see how this space expands 🫡
Strange that you’re paranoid about sn email but want to go to jack dorsey. But i guess that’s why there’s lots of options. For different tastes. 😁
I’m not paranoid.. it’s just a principal based decision that I shouldn’t have to submit such details when there are options where I don’t have to 👌.

Well you don’t have to, they don’t verify it. 🤷🏻 but anyway.
What you filled in there is childlike by the way. Being into bitcoin doesn’t mean being paranoid. Also KYC is a company asking for verifiable id documents that they actually verify. That’s not KYC, let’s not throw terms around.
