vp8 is better for low bandwidth/small stuff
I use Adobe Media encoder and choose the Twitter 720p default encoding, it usually produces the best results and keeps the file size low.
well, i'm just gonna say that you can do this without buying some adobe thing. ffmpeg is very solid

The local video works great but once on Nostr it bugs nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg
Scrolling through some other recent ones they look fine. I know I've seen a couple others like this in the past though.
