Hey nostr, i've been dragging all day, just feeling tired. I think its because we got to bed so late last night due to the storm, generators, etc. But at least today the weather was nice, not ferocious and threatening like yesterday. But these events force us to make note of where we are lacking in our emergency preps. I am so thankful we have the portable generators, and lots of emergency lanterns in the house. Those things really got us through the six and a half hour loss of power. We have lots of precious meat in the freezers to worry about. Anyway, all is well. Yall have a good evening nostr friends. That was a crazy storm yesterday and last night. It pounded us 3 separate times. Thankfully kept power. Sorry to hear you had to deal with losing yours.
For the meat in the freezers, have all packed the extra space with bags of ice? I love doing that with ours. Helps even when little people forget to close the door all the way.
Our freezers stay pretty full with meat and lots of other stuff, but we do put ice in them when not full. Glad you didnt lose power though.
