A lot of American right-wingers dis on the United Nations, consider the whole thing a joke. I'm starting to think this is because they call out Israel. Is that correct? Was all the anti-UN rhetoric planted by Israel in order to make it acceptible to ignore the U.N. callouts of what Israel does?

Of course the administration of the U.N. (the administration of any organisation) is full of woke idiots. That's just how administrators are.

But primarily the U.N. is a major means for all of the countries of the world to negotiate. And if all the countries of the world vote to pass some resolution, except for two of them, that has nothing to do with the woke nonsense of the administrators.
