I feel like most just go through the motions. It's a water downed 2 testament focus, don't worry you're forgiven no matter what thing.

I remember as a kid our Sunday school class said if you have two jackets, give one away. My Dad had five. I was like oh, people aren't taking this literally.

My aunt telling me as a kid that Jesus didn't walk on water. I'm like ooh girl, there's Christianity statues all up in this house rn.

The way i see it that modern christianity has been totaly feminized and sentimental, it has nothing to do anymore with real moral values and the search for the truth. "Just be a good person bla bla bla"

Totally.

Imo, the idea of be a good person is one of the hardest things possible. To be perfect. No immoral thoughts or desires. No sexual immortality in any way(thoughts, masturbation, premarital). The concept of marriage is to make an oath to become one with another person and perfectly love them. A covenant cannot be broken and marriage is man woman and GOD. Everything we do must be done with reverence to GOD. How we think, our physical hygiene, our fear of the one who can send us to hell etc. Like, GOD flooded the earth yo... don't fuck with his patience.

We can't be dirty and match with GOD.
