To be fair not all members of Brics agree on carbon credits, Russia and oil states do not think its neccessary. The AI thing is tricky, these are self fulfilling prophecies at this point. Without AI its hard to integrate parts of society and also allows enemies to conduct terrorism more effectively. Ultimately the argument is if we dont use AI our enemies will against us.
