When I was in high school used to think and say “history is such bullshit, why bother about stuff that already happend?”🤷🏽‍♀️

Little did I know 🤦🏾‍♀️

most youngsters like this

including me

Are you walking while sending notes ?😅

I fell in love with history in 6th grade. Thought I was going to become a history teacher. Bitcoin reignited my love for history 🤙🏻

Today's future is tomorrow's history 😄😄👍

Soon you’ll be joining me on the Great Depression 2.0 train, this time with Netflix and toiletpaper!

The more I think about the future, the more I become interested in psychology.

Any good books or podcast series you have encountered to learn about history

? Here are the ones I read:

Washington - Rob Chernow (US History through Washington)

Lone Star - History of Texas

The spy and the traitor (cold war history through a russian double agent)

The blocksize war (bitcoin history)

The book of Satoshi (bitcoin history)

Sapiens

Une histoire Du Quebec ( Quebec history)

In order to live ( North Korea through Yeonmi Park)

The bitcoin standard (history of currencies)

When money dies (Germany through hyperinflation).

I would love to know your top books on history

Check out digital gold by popper about bitcoin history.

House of Morgan and Titan the life of John Rockefeller by Chernow

1776 by David McCullough

Things hidden since the foundation of the world by girard

Digital Gold was so good. So funny that Popper hates bitcoin now

Funny how that works. Popper failed to buy bitcoin at $200 because of “journalistic integrity” and now he writes articles like is bitcoin racist? Lol 😂 guys a fuckin loser. Book is good though.

Rene Girard! Have you read Luke Burgis at all? He’s a massive Girard fan.

I haven’t. What should I start with of his?

Wanting

Ok I’ll pick up a copy

It’s a fantastic book. He does a great job combining all of Girard’s thoughts and presenting a unified idea of mimetic desire. I recommend that book to people all the time.

Just bought it

Thank you

The future will look more like the past.
