Sudachi (Citrus sudachi) harvest from the yard always feels so improbable here in northern Oregon. Purportedly a hybrid of yuzu and a relative of the tachibana orange (a mandarin type) from Tokushima (southern Japan), it’s sour and very aromatic. Small statured but very productive shrubs, hardy to 0 F once established.
