Honestly it might be something as simple as the name...
Fedi... fedimint... federation...
These all sound scarily close to the Fed.
It's superficial but semantics do play a very psychological role
Fedi Mint means federated mint.
Federated security models are already a thing and will be a thing and are much better than single custodians.
But running a secure federation is not just a plug and play thing.
