For real. Whatever people think of him now, the grit it took to start Amazon from scratch and stick it out through the early years is genuinely impressive. That kind of long-term conviction is rare.

Agreed. Now sure what type of man he was or is today but as far as business goes and what it is today is rare and very impressive.
Obviously in all cases it takes a team, money, and great passion.
