Okay looks like it’s finally time for me to take the leap into crypto. A decade late to the game lol if I HAVE NO CRYPTO, what is the safest/smartest way to get started?

The safest way is to use a reputable exchange (coinbase, kraken) and buy as much as you can afford. You can't use funds that you may need withing the next 5 years.
Best strategy is dca.. Dollar cost averaging.
A set amount each week or month regardless of price.
