Reading Values by Mark Carney. In it, he discusses his desire to encourage more women to join the workforce, primarily by expanding government programs such as childcare.

Personally, I find his framing a bit odd. Rather than aiming for more women to work, I think the goal should be that women have the option not to.

Equality of opportunity is important. Women who want to work should absolutely be able to. But I don’t see how a higher number of women in the workforce is inherently noble.

I’d prefer a society where women can truly choose whether or not to work, as was more common decades ago.

If you listen to Mark Carney talk about housing you realize he doesn't want private property houses he just want Brookfield to rent out more pre fab houses. Very sad to have prime minister that doesn't believe in families or private property. #cndpoli

Yes, that is quite obvious.

The same about infrastructure projects, such as pipelines. Brookfield purchased an American pipeline recently, which was obviously in talks for a long time.

Carney says he wants to build more pipelines, yet stated he does not want to remove Bill c-69. He knows full well that building pipelines is impossible with this bill in effect.

It is likely that he wants to keep the pipeline supply low, so that his company can profit from their investments further.
