Someone I know got someone else to buy a whole coin around $40k. I generally keep my opinions to myself with acquaintances, so I didn't say anything.

I wonder if they will remain friends if it doesn't turn out the way they expect [in the short-mid term].

From my perspective, I would rather put in $4k a month for 10 months instead because DCA makes much more sense with larger sums.

If only they understood they bought that 1 BTC from someone who bought their BTC at $16k. Ultimately the market wouldn't exist if people weren't doing this kind of stuff, because there would be no liquidity.
