I want to see if I can make charcoal out of pinecones because we have several… well, around 20 pine trees and they dump pinecones, and those typically just get burned in a burn barrel. I would be more interested in converting them to charcoal for later. I also have heard that you can use them in a garden if you turn them into charcoal, so that could be interesting as well.
Sounds awesome, have you considered consuming the bits of charcoal or using them as emergency water purifiers?
