evolve at all. Humans learned to grow and feed each other, and build things together, which is why cities emerged at all. We won’t fix any of our issues as long as everyone thinks they have their own personal model for how things should work.

I would much prefer that the rich and fortunate feel obligated to fund advocacy and actions that changes minds and elections, which over time can change society. Because that will achieve a lasting collective good, whereas those individual … 2/3

actions will mostly make the rich feel better about being rich. That doesn’t mean doing those things is bad. Just hardly optimal, in my view. 3/3
