“No one can build you the bridge on which you, and only you, must cross the river of life,” Nietzsche wrote it regarding what it takes to find oneself.

To that Hesse has added “a being who has recognized his destiny, never tries to change it. The endeavor to change destiny is a childish persuit that makes the human quarrel and kill one another” - a fulfillment life requires embracing rather than running from difficulty.

“Treat your suffering with respect and curiosity”

Have any of you done that?

I don't want suffering/ pain/ hurt.

I noticed pain comes with desire.

I gave up desire, expectation.

So no pain.

😁

Reminds me this term I found in this book, Hidden Selves by R.Khan… the term is “lying fallow” - the proof that a person can be with himself unpurposefully.

I read similar words in J. Krishnamurti's "Freedoom from the known" book.

I started using it because it expressed my similar feelings better..
