Thats an interesting conversation. To me I do not have an issue with traceability of bitcoin. The fundamentals against the government is that they cannot confiscate or control transactions. The monero supply increases over time so it loses the scarcity aspect of Bticon. Each to their own I guess.

As long as they have a monopoly on power they pretty much can when they identify one of your trade powers.
