Yep I have fiber to my house already, but it's "only" 1gbps

My laster is also very fastest ..so many companies propose fiber but false unbridled doesn't work from start to finish..it's the reality

Not doing incremental backups?

Duplicity + rsync works well for encrypted off-site backups.

I am using rsync, you are right though something must be off, it should be incremental

No problemo :)

Considered ZFS snapshots to replace my setup in my new 4 disk NAS, I think it should also do incremental backups, but haven't played around with it yet.

There's also borg backup, but haven't tried that either yet.
