What if the SEC is successful at shuttering all the #bitcoin on-ramps in the US and the State and their “approved partners” (ie Grayscale) become the largest shareholder of %btc?

Would the rest of the world even want it at that point? Would sentiment grow stronger due to scarcity or would sentiment consider bitcoin to be undesirable at that point?
