This list is even longer than the other. I guess the better answer would be that I love reading menus, and I love exploring new plates. I grew up around the kitchen, because my mom was a waitress. I have this fantasy to travel the world and try all those fancy small bajillion plates of food, tasting courses. If I really had to choose one, there is a comfort soup I loved growing up. My stepfather is from Colombia and we would often have sancocho with a side of white rice and a salad consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, and fresh lime wedges. I would just toss it all in the soup (only the juice of the limes). It was my favorite dish and I often think about it. I was going to make something similar next weekend. Maybe I will write a recipe for that comfort food I grew up with...soon! I think that is why I love soup so much. That meal made me happy. So even if it is a good bowl of noodle soup, or cream of mushroom, or pho, or ramen...I am super happy. I also really really love Cold Noodle Salads. I use this recipe a lot: Vermicelli Noodle Salad Recipe that's FULL OF FLAVOUR! - YouTube
