I'm totally sold for #bouldering 🧗‍♂️with kids from 5-10 years age. There are very few sports which are that intuitiv for kids while still being physically AND intellectually challenging.

If you look at most team sports, kids hardly understand the teamplay aspect or the clues of positioning on the play area.

The result often is a big pile of children gathering around the ball (or other targets...).

#climbing generally also gives constant feedback on your mistakes and your successes. It's just very enjoyable for everyone but still offers lots of room for healthy competition. 👌

My daughter enjoyed bouldering at the age of 3. Of course, not all walls have many routes for that short a kid but climbing is a challenge she always loved.

my daughter would climb anything as a little 'un, literally sides of houses, stone walls, and real boulders. It is a fantastic discipline, and gives much mental strength - as well as grippy fingers, as witnessed by her grip on her purse when it comes time to paying for climbing.

haha 🤣 🥰

Love this! My son tried recently and loved it. Thinking of finding a local gym to go more often

Bouldering with adolescents is great, the only disadvantage is that you have to constantly buy new shoes because of their growth 😅.

yeah, was hoping to dodge the need for personal gear as long as possible and just rent shoes... 😄

Luckily the 2nd hand market seems to be VERY much alive when it comes to climbing shoes.
