When I was in the army I used to have this American flag up on my barracks room wall where all 50 stars were replaced with 50 different corporate logos. It didn't go over very well when the sergeant major did a barracks inspection but they didn't tell me to take it down because free speech. I cannot for the life of me remember what happened to that flag. I wish I still had it.

I was questioned about the engine block on a stand in the shared latrine and the welding setup in my locker.
The general was amused. My Colonel was not.

Mr. Whiney-pants was all like "why can't you do stuff like that at the auto craft center?"
"Well, sir, I can't keep this stuff there long term since I get paid so little I can't afford to rent a bay long term."
Some of the seargents snorted at that and they GTFO.
I got an atta boy for the big Contico foot locker full of thousands of dollars worth of medical supplies and equipment that I was hoarding. None of it was missing from any company inventory so it was all good.
I need to ask. Why do you wish that you still had that fuckin' thing? Immediately after I was discharged i became more anticorporate then ever.
Because I like the statement that it makes.
That explains it - now I get it - you were in the army
